日光石

徳川家康を東照大権現として祀る、日光東照宮へつながる日光街道の石から「日光石」とも呼ばれます。
旧帝国ホテルでフランクロイドライトがこの石を使い、設計と建築を行ったとして有名です。
凝灰岩の仲間で、柔らかく加工がしやすいが、気泡が多く、溶岩のような味わいが綺麗です。
約2300万年前の新生代前期の火山の噴火時、火山灰や砂礫が海中に沈んで再結晶化されたもので、ゼオライトなどを含み、海底で他の成分も多く含み、水の浄化能力+多成分ミネラルを放出するといわれ、土壌改良や水質改善、身体にも良い影響を与える石としても注目を浴びています。

It`s similar to the tingestone, and it`s softly so it`s easy to process but there are a lot of bubble that make this stone similar to the lava stone.
Approximately 23 million years ago, during the early Cenozoic volcanic eruption, volcanic ash and gravel sank into the sea and were recrystallized. It contains zeolite and many other components on the sea floor, and it has a water purification capacity + It is said to release multi-component minerals and is attracting attention as a stone that can improve soil, improve water quality, and have a good effect on the body.
