ブラックハイドガーネット

村上水軍「鶴姫」という女海賊のいた伊予国の石。
主に玄武岩質の岩石が高い温度・圧力を受けて形成する変成岩で構成鉱物にガーネットと少量の金雲母などを伴っています。
愛媛県では通常は地表より下部でしか存在しないものが山の頂上付近から産出されるなど、未だにその原因が謎であったりとまさにロマン溢れる石でもあります。
鶴姫の血がガーネットになったともいわれ、逆境に立ち向かう勇気と力を与えてくれるとされています。

This stone is produced In Iyo, where a female pirate called Tsuruhime of Murakami navy lived. This is a metamorphic rock formed when basaltic rocks are subjected to high temperature and pressure, and it usually contains constituent minerals, including garnet and a small amount of phylogopite. In Ehime prefecture, the stones, which normally exist only in the lower levels of the ground, are mined on the top of mountain and still now no one know the reason, that`s why this stone are mysterious and romantic. It`s said that Tsuruhime`s blood turned to garnet stone, and it`s believed to give people courage and the power to sand up to adversity.
