岩戸隠れ神話にまつわる地名が多く存在し、八百万の神が会議をしたとされる天安河原付近から採取されました。
1400万年前に日本列島が活発に動いていた時期に形成が始まった石で緑色のものが採掘されにくく、美しく希少価値が高いとされています。
またテラヘルツ波を放出されているといわれミネラルバランスもよく、さらにカリウム40(40K)が含まれており、健康維持だけでなく、脱臭作用や活水作用も期待されさまざまな分野で役立つといわれ注目を浴びています。
