インドではラジュカユと呼ばれ、中国では血龍木と呼びます。
産地は、東南アジアからインドにかけて分布し、赤い色は、その名通り、まさに「龍の血」をイメージさせます。
太陽の届かない深い森の中で育ち、その上、光を透過する珍しい木で、その現象は樹液を多く含む性質からといわれています。
その霊力を身体に取り込むため、昔は漢方としても使用されていたと伝えられています。

In India it is called Rajkayu, and in China it is called Blood Dragon Wood.
It is native to areas ranging from Southeast Asia to India, and its red color, as its name suggests, evokes the image of "dragon's blood."
It grows in deep forests where the sun does not reach, and is a rare tree that allows light to pass through, a phenomenon that is said to be due to its high sap content.
It is said that it was also used in traditional Chinese medicine in the past to absorb its spiritual power into the body.
