吉野杉 【パワーズウッド】

吉野杉

国産材のブランドのひとつ。
主に奈良県中南部の吉野林業地帯が産地の杉で、日本三大美林の1つ。
代々間伐を続けて育てえてきた「250年の森」は、森林セラピーのスポットとして人気があります。
吉野杉の植林の歴史は古く、およそ500年前、室町時代に始まったとられています。
吉野杉は「吉野式」「吉野林業」と呼ばれる独特のスタイルで育てられ、100年や200年以上前に植えた木も多きあるのが特徴です。
豊臣秀吉や大阪城や見城をはじめとした城郭建築や神社などの用材としたともいわれています。

This species of tree makes up on of the three most beautiful forest in Japan and is produced mostly in the southern central Nara Prefecture.
For generations this forest that has been nurtured and thinned from 250 years, has been a popular spot for forest therapy.
Yoshino Cedar has a long history of planting hat started about 500year old in the Muromachi period.
It is grown using a unique style called "Yoshino Style" or "Yoshino Forestry" with many tree planted more than 100 or 200 years ago.
It was used by Toyotomi Hideyoshi as a material for building temples and castles, such as Osaka Castle and Fushimi Castle among other.
