雷打棗（らいだなつめ）

古来より雷に打たれた棗を身につけると運がいいという言い伝えがあります。
雷に打たれたて焦げた痕があり、瞬間的な熱と衝撃で木の表面だけでなく割れ目の奥の水分まで蒸発し、木全体が強力な雷の力を持ったといわれる神秘な棗です。
木の中でも背低い棗の木に雷が落ちる確率はごくわずかで、その雷の力は魔を退け、幸運をもたらしてくれるといわれています。
また棗の実を乾燥したものは大棗と呼ばれ、強壮作用・鎮痛作用が有るとされています。
鉄分やカルシウムなどのミネラル、葉酸やナイアシンなどのビタミン、食物繊維などが豊富で、栄養価が高い棗は”世界三大美女”として名高い楊貴妃も欠かさずに食していたそうです。
