栽培が大変困難なことから、年々入手が難しくなっている上に、最高級品の為、近年インド政府も規制を始め、また高騰しています。

It gives off a strong fragrance even without the addition of heat, so it is used in a wide variety of everyday items, including Buddhist statues and Buddhist rosary and other Buddhist altar implements, and is also known as an ingredient in incense.
It is becoming harder to obtain as it is very difficult to cultivate, and because it is a top-quality product, the Indian government has begun to regulate it in recent years, causing prices to soar.
