"Siamese persimmon" is the name given to it by a trading company in Japan, and its official name is "Zerikote" or "Jirikote."
It was originally imported as a substitute for domestic black persimmon, but now it is becoming more and more difficult to obtain this wood.
It is a beautiful wood with a different charm from domestic black persimmon, with a mixture of various brown and black-brown patterns.
